Upcoming Releases! / Future Plans

So, it's Friday, the 13th of March, 2009 as I'm typing this. Just wanted to give everyone an update on what exactly is going on here at Bonfire Club Records.
Alex, Luke, and myself have been focusing really hard on our Stoked: The Band here recently and are almost ready to record the "Seasons" EP. We're planning on doing that at WonderRoot Studios in Atlanta then pressing it on 7" vinyl, with a free CD-r of the tracks. We also are nearing enough songs for another, non-themed EP, possibly a full-length if I stop being lazy, get inspired, and start writing some more songs. Should be a ton of fun! And you should come see us play if you can! We're hoping to get a lot of shows here in the next few months and maybe do a short Midwest tour this summer. Oh, and I'm in the process of searching for a vehicle we can all actually fit in. Stoked!
So now that I'm done being annoying and talking about myself, onward to label news that you might actually care about! Early this summer, we will be helping Atlanta crust / metal band Revolutionary Youth EP on vinyl. These guys are so sick...Hopefully Stoked will be playing with them sometime within the coming months. There I go talking about myself again. Check them out! http://www.myspace.com/revolutionaryyouthpunks
Matt Katzenmeier also mentioned that he would be trying to press his next album, so hopefully we can help out with that; Matt rules! Ask him about a band called My Greasy Heart.
Those are our current planned releases, aside from maybe a fundraiser CD here or there. Now for some other stuff!
This summer, I'm 99% sure I will be living in Atlanta, working at WonderRoot Community Art Center. For one, you should come visit. For two, we will be combining forces with No Breaks Distro from Atlanta, setting up shop in WonderRoot. This means lots of stuff! All the more reason for you to come visit. Yes. Did I mention you should visit?
Next Spring (2010), I will more likely than not be living in Athens. I'm planning on transfering to The University of Georgia. Rome / Berry just aren't cutting it. Luke is going to so Stoked will continue! Hooray!
I really should be studying for a Spanish test right now, and I think that's all the news I have anyway. Here's a quick list of stuff I've been listening to lately: Eric Ayotte Allison Weiss The Weakerthans Revolutionary Youth The Wunder Years The Music Tapes Paul Baribeau Nana Grizol
Yes.

PS -- If you've ever thought about donating or buying something from me, now would be an awesome time. I've got a ton of stuff in my distro that I need to get rid of. Also, if you might be interested in buying a mandolin, a dobro, a banjo, and / or a semi-functional, semi-hollowbody electric guitar, please let me know! I drastically need some new equipment / money to fund Stoked stuff. My current job barely leaves me with enough to pay for gas and food.
